Summer will be arriving fairly soon, but somedays it feels like summer has already arrived with steamy mornings and thunderstorms in the afternoons/evenings. Welcome to summer in central Indiana! 

Style Bullet Points

Colors & Textures I'm Loving - Black, Navy, White, Denim, Knit, Large Floral Prints, Grey, Stripes, Distressed Denim, and Taupe.

Wish List - White Converse & Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Perfume [I'm saving my Ulta points up for this].

Brands/Stores I'm Loving - Madewell, Lush, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Adidas, Converse, American Eagle Outfitters, and various Boutique brands.

Accessories I Want To Try - Neck scarves are the main thing on the list that I want to test out, especially since so many people that I've seen on social media can pull them off so well. I have one from Urban Outfitters that I received for a Christmas present last year, currently I have it tied to my tote, just need to try wearing it sometime as its main purpose.    

What is inspiring me for this summer, fashion wise? Lots of basics and classic/neutral colors, soft feminine designs, with just a few trendy pieces thrown in.

The inspiration for my Summer style is a lot like my Spring style inspiration, which can be seen here, just adjusted for the warmer weather.

I am wanting to try out a few new styles this year, like spaghetti straps, cold-shoulder tops, off-the shoulder tops, and raw edge denim [all of which I never really worn before, without other layers underneath that is]. So I'm looking forward to try those style out more. Otherwise, as I get older I find my style becoming based more and more on classic and timeless pieces. 

I've been finding some amazing pieces at Goodwill for summer, so I will need to do a collective haul sometime soon.
