Style Files #4 | Weekend Uniform
I've been going to the theater a lot this summer seeing films like: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Dunkirk. So I've kinda come up with an uniform for going to the movies. Layers and basics are key ingredients to my uniform, but I will explain more later in this post.
what I'm wearing: skinny jeans [Jessica Simpson via Goodwill] | tank [Zara via Goodwill] | converse [DSW] | cross-body bag [Coach via Simply Chic]
Skinny jeans and converse are an excellent combination for going to the movies. Add on a tank, jacket/cardigan, and a cross-body bag and you have a good recipe for keeping comfortable no matter what the tempeture inside the theater.
I actually also wore my Old Navy utility jacket with this outfit, as it was a slightly rainy day outside, plus with it being in the middle of summer, I knew the theater was going to be freezing, as they typically crank-up the air conditioning during the summer.
This is also my first pair of white converse. I have been meaning to buy a pair for years, but had never gotten around to it, until this July when I decided that I was going to purchase a pair for my upcoming trip to London this September. So far, I have been loving them as they go with jeans, shorts, dresses, and skirts -- it is really awesome.
