Tacha The Silk Peony Eye Cream — This isn’t my favorite eye cream for dark circles or puffy eyes. This is more of a favorite for priming my under eye area for makeup, which it does an amazing job at. With a price tag of $60, I don’t really think it is worth it for just an under eye primer. While I will use this product up, I won’t be repurchasing it.
Maybelline Dream Urban Cover in 102 Fair — This looks amazing on the skin, especially when blended in with a makeup sponge. Lasts well after an 8-10 hr shift at work. Blush, bronzer, and highlight blends well on top of the foundation as well. Skin/Face products is definitely a strong area for Maybelline, and I’m typically a fan of their releases. Will definitely repurchase this foundation again in the future, especially since it is under $10 from certain retailers.
BECCA Cosmetics Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder in Original — This is such an unusual product. The powder feels slightly cooling when first applied to the face, but it melts into my skin flawlessly and looks amazing on my under-eye area [even for someone with fair cool/neutral tones]. Not entirely sure how it will work for me during the winter when I have more dry skin, but right now I have more normal to oily skin, and it is working fine for me. I definitely will be repurchasing this product again, even with an almost $40 price tag — it is worth it.
NARS Eyeshadow Duo in Surabaya — A great little eyeshadow duo for autumn makeup looks. The shades are almost too warm for me, but paired with a great cool toned crease color, it works out perfectly.
NARS Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer in Laguna — Soft and glowy, looks very sun kissed on the skin and in the pan. I love applying this with a huge fluffy brush wherever the sun naturally hits my face. Definitely a huge fan of this formula of the famous Laguna bronzer.
NARS Highlighting Powder in Albatross — Beautiful highlighter that works wonderfully for my fair to light skin. Over the years, I have come to adore a more pearl to champagne color highlighter for my skintone [I use to wear a more rosey tone].
e.l.f. cosmetics The New Classics Eyeshadow Palette — My favorite eyeshadows are from brands like: Anastasia of Beverly Hills, Too Faced, Tarte, etc… so when I heard that this $14 palette from e.l.f. cosmetics was amazing, I knew I had to try it out. Y’all. It is an amazing palette! These shadows last all day, are pigmented, easy to blend, and they create some beautiful looks.
Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer in Very Fair — I have been finding myself loving Too Faced products recently, a brand I had been ignoring the past couple of years. I have been on a concealer binge this year, trying out soo many different types and brands. I knew that people loved this concealer when it first came out [I believe before Shape Tape], and I can see why. I looks natural on my under eye, covers what it needs to cover, and blends seamlessly into my skin. Definitely a fan.
Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20 in LC1 — A beautiful foundation that has Hyaluronic Acid in it [a skincare ingredient that I love, as it helps hydrate, brighten, and improve your skin.] I love the bottle [wish it came out with a pump], and appearance of the foundation on the skin. Only thing I don’t love, is the smell of the foundation. Not a fan of the smell at all.
