what i'm wearing: plaid skirt [Target] | cardigan vest [Banana Republic via Simply Chic] | skinny jeans [JBrand via Goodwill] | riding boots [DSW]

I don't often purchase clothes brand new these days, but this plaid flannel at Target had been calling my name ever since I first saw several different people wearing it over the past month or two. So when I saw that the shirt was marked down this past weekend + there was a cartwheel offer, how could I resist the chance to purchase it? They didn't have my size in-stock anymore, just an X-Large, I don't mind the oversized look so I went ahead and purchased it. 

Anyway, about those life changes. After working at Ulta Beauty for over three years, I made the choice to stop working two part-time jobs and just go full-time at my local Starbucks. Doing so gives me more freedom and flexibility with my schedule, more hours overall, and more chances at pursing other things in life. Another bonus, I don't have to work every Sunday anymore. Also, I don’t have to work Black Friday for the first time since getting into retail. I did have to work Thanksgiving at Starbucks, but one of my sisters was working too with me along with some of my favorite co-workers — so we tried our best to have lots of fun while working.
