Brand Love | Tarte Cosmetics
The past two years I have come to enjoy using products from Tarte Cosmetics nearly everyday in my makeup routine. I also feel like the brand has been stepping up their game, especially since last summer with the launch of their new foundations, concealer, highlighters, mascaras, and contouring products. I just feel like the brand needs to step up their brow game, it is Tarte's one downside.
- Double Duty Beauty Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation [$35] -- I love using this powder foundation for various uses. Somedays I apply it with a big fluffy powder brush for a sheer light-weight coverage. If I want heaver coverage, I will use a more compact powder foundation brush. Other times I will use it to set my foundation and under-eye area. It is a great overall powder in my collection.
- Shape Tape Contour Concealer [$24] -- This concealer packs a powerful punch. You only need a small bit to cover & brighten your under-eye area.
- tarteist PRO glow highlight & contour palette [$45] -- The powders & creams in this palette are like butter and look amazing on the face.
- Amazonian clay 12-hour blush [$28] -- Their blushes are top-notch, though oddly enough I only own one full-sized one, the others I own came in a palette or was in last years holiday set at Ulta Beauty.
- Maneater Voluptuous Mascara [$23] -- I just picked this mascara up this weekend and it is already a favorite of mine! I'm very picky about my mascaras, and typically I've never been a huge fan of Tarte's mascaras, but this one changes all of that. It makes my lashes look amazing and it is easy to remove at the end of the day.
- tartelette in bloom clay palette [$46] -- Ah. I adore Tate's eyeshadows! They are creamy, blend well, and look amazing. This is possibly my top favorite full eyeshadow palette that they have put out, especially since I've made some dents in some of the shades.
- tartelette tease clay palette [$23] -- My second favorite palette from them is this little mini eyeshadow palette, which is perfect for traveling. I've almost hit pan on the shade, first kiss, and I haven't owned it for a full year yet.
- Amazonian butter lipstick [$17] -- Their butter lipsticks were the first high-end lipsticks I bought, and for the longest time were the only ones I owned. I still love and use them to this day, though I mostly grab them in the Spring/early Summer months as the ones I own are more brightly colored. My favorite selling point about these lipsticks is how they feel like chapstick on lips, as they are moisturizing and feel light-weight.
- Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Park Ave Princess [$17] -- A great moisturizing brown-pink nude lipstick, though it looks like they might be discounting it as it is marked down on their website.
- Maracuja Oil [$48] -- Miracle in a bottle. You can use this oil as a moisturizer, mixed into your foundation, on rashes, honestly, it seems to help out with any skin problems you may have. Keep this bottle on hand, and I can bet that you will find uses for it in your daily life.
