What is in my Makeup Bag?
Hello, y'all! I'm going to be giving y'all a peak into my current makeup bag which is filled with some of my all-time favorite makeup and brands. And yes, I definitely love my prestige makeup.
Complexion
Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer -- I had received this in a subscription box sometime in the past, and I just recently threw it into my makeup bag to start using before applying my makeup. I have come to love a dewy skin look, so I like to make sure that my skin is moisturized before applying my makeup.
BECCA Backlight Priming Filter -- I adore this makeup primer. I will wear it alone for very simple makeup days, with just some concealer and powder, and for those days that I go all out!
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light in 0.5 -- After debating over several different foundations & BB Creams to purchase for the summer, I finally opted for this one. So far, I really like it and how it lasts during the summer heat. I also like how the coverage isn't too heavy. Just wish it had SPF in it.
Tate Shape Tape Concealer in Fair -- This is actually my second tube, as I love it that much.
MAC Studio Fix Powder in NW10 -- I love using this powder to set my super oily spots, which is mostly in the T-zone.
Anastasia of Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light to Medium -- I never thought I would purchase this contour kit, but I had been slowly considering it over the past year so when I saw it at TJMAXX for only $18, I decided to give it a whirl.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure -- I love the natural glow that I get from this blush, it has quickly become one of my top favorites.
Smashbox x Casey Holmes Spotlight Palette in Pearl -- I have actually almost hit pan on this palette, as I have used it almost everyday since I bought when it first came out. So you can kinda say, that I really like it.
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray -- Great setting spray. Definitely a classic for a reason. I love using this spray during the summer, as it really helps my makeup last.
Eyes
MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly -- When I want a matte base for my eye shadow, this is the one I will pull to use.
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Truth -- If I'm wanting a shimmery base, then I will pull out this cream-to-powder shadow to use as my base.
Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Rose Gold Retro, Smoldering Satin, and Kitten Karma -- I love using these glitter shadows for special occasions & concerts, or for days I'm just feeling fancy.
Burberry Wet & Dry Silk Shadow in No. 102 Pale Barley -- My go-to for those no-makeup-makeup days.
Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Eye Shadow Palette -- I picked this palette up at Sephora on clearance last month, and it was definitely worth it. I love the colors, the shadows blend well, and apply either wet or dry.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara -- This has been my go-to mascara since it first came out, and I don't really ever seeing that changing since my other favorite mascara are like $30+.
Ulta Gel Eye Liner in Mink -- I love how pretty much all of makeup is high-end, but than I love using drugstore eyeliner pencils. I'm not sure if Ulta still has this liner, but it is a favorite of mine and is only $8.
Maybelline Lasting Drama Matte Eyeliner in 860 Jet Black -- Great matte eyeliner pencil.
Brows
Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown -- My go-to option for when I want to quickly do my brows.
Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo in Medium Brown -- If I'm wanting to add a little depth, to my brows, yet keep it soft, I will use the brow powder in combination with the brow wiz.
Anastasia of Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown -- If I'm wanting a more strong brow, I will opt for the brow pomade. This is also great for when the skin around my brows is on the dry side.
Lips
Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liner in Lolita -- I love wearing this lip liner as a lipstick! It is the perfect rosy/brown shade, and isn't too matte or drying on the lips. It definitely has a more creamy finish.
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture in 70 -- A very pretty light pink, it pairs perfectly with a dewy fresh makeup look. This is also one of my all-time favorite lipstick formulas.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Gloss in Almond Nude 27 -- I had seen this gloss being featured on several blogger Instagram's this Spring, so I finally decided to take the plunge and test it out [even though Neutrogena skincare breaks me out like crazy]. It is super moisturizing, and looks amazing worn along or layered.
