I’m not the biggest accessories fan. I prefer a more minimalist style with just a few timeless pieces, to pull my whole outfit together. One of my favorite pieces to use to accessorize almost any outfit is a JORD wood watch — they really add something to an outfit, especially during the warmer months. I’ve always loved wearing a watch. I remember picking out a watch for my Christmas Wish list back when I was seven years old. It was very cutesy-vintage with squirrels on the band. Throughout the years, I would dabble with wearing various watch styles as a fashion statement. As an adult, I love pairing my wood watch with anything from a basic jeans & tee shirt outfit, to something like a flirty dress and heels. A wood watch is the perfect addition to any outfit for every day of the week.
The other day when I wore this outfit, which consisted of my old black skinny jeans (I’ve had these for nine years), a basic white Target tee, leopard print penny loafers, and a vintage denim jacket for a day of running errands. All in all, my outfit was an excellent base for showing off a statement watch with a minimalist vibe.

Style Tip
A tip to keep in mind when creating an outfit to show off your watch, make sure your sleeves are shorter or rolled up slightly, so your watch is in full view. Otherwise, your watch will become hidden from view and will only peak out occasionally.
