Monthly Favorites | June, 2020
I thought it would be fun to start sharing some favorites of mine every month, or so. I will share from a variety of categories depending on what I’m loving that month, it could range from TV shows, makeup, songs, local businesses, my favorite Amazon find, etc… I hope y’all enjoy this new blog series! Entertainment
Bones // AMAZON PRIME // My roommate introduced me to this wonderful TV show when I moved in, and I have been obsessed ever since! I have watched up to season 5 in a remarkably short amount of time, all while working and getting settled in my new place.
Cheers // NETFLIX // I have been watching this show off and on for about a year or so. I had finished watching, Frasier [LOVE it!] and I thought it would be great to see the original show — the show has become my chilling before falling asleep show.
Fashion
Round Rattan Crossbody // Marshalls // I had been eyeing the straw purse trend for over a year, not fully sure if I wanted to dabble in it or not. When I spotted this bag on clearance when the stores first reopened up, I knew it had to come home with me. I love the round shape, the leather strap, and the cute red tassels that are attached to the bag. It is the perfect summer bag!
White Converse // DSW // These shoes are a staple in my wardrobe nowadays. They pair well with dresses, skirts, jeans, and shorts for weekend wear, or for church! If it was practical to wear them to work, I would.
BALEAF Compression Biker Shorts // AMAZON PRIME // I purchased these to wear while playing ultimate frisbee this summer, and just hiking, and working out in general. So far they fit true to size, I purchased them in a size Large, and they definitely get the job done. I would repurchase them again.
Beauty
ABH x Mario Master Palette // Limited Edition // I was able to track down this limited edition palette on Poshmark in brand new condition, after wishing I had purchased this palette back when it was first released. Sadly, I didn’t realize that I would come to adore ABH eye shadow formula as one of my favorites, as I just starting to dabble with higher end makeup when this palette was released.
Marc Jacobs Beauty At Lash’d Lengthening and Curling Mascara // Sephora // This is such a beautiful mascara, both the packaging and the formula. It takes a lot for a mascara to win me over quickly — and this one has done so.
Anastasia of Beverly Hills A30 Domed Kabuki Brush // Sephora // I haven’t always been a fan of using a brush to apply my foundation or BB Cream, but this brush from ABH has quickly become a favorite of mine.
Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush in 10 Rosé Latte // Sephora // I have been wanting to test out more cream makeup products, so when this launched during the VIB sale I knew I had to try this out. It has quickly become a favorite product, and I love how easy it is to apply.
Lifestyle
Echo Dot // AMAZON PRIME // This was such a great first purchase after moving to my new place. I have been able to play music or audio books with ease while unpacking and getting settled in — I’m definitely thankful to have it!
Metal Straws // AMAZON PRIME // I’ve always been a fan of using a straw while drinking, so when my roommate introduced me to these metal straw I have gladly switched from plastic to metal with just a few uses.
Endoflex Essential Oil // Young Living // I have been using this oil off and on for a few years now, and I find that it helps balance my hormone levels [something I’ve needed for years]. This is my second bottle, and I will keep using it as long as that I can tell it is working for me.
